Bunaken National Park

Bunaken National Park is set by the Government, and inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 24 December 1991 and is a water conservation area with a 79,065 ha.

Consists of two separate parts, namely:

1. The North includes five islands each Bunaken Island, Siladen, Manado Tua, Mantehage and Nain Island, and coastal areas Molas Village, Village Meras, Tongkaina and Tiwoho.
2. Include the Southern coastal villages, namely: Village Popo, Teling, Kumu, Pinasungkulan, Rap-rap, Sondaken, Wawontulap and Poperang.

Bunaken National Park which is a conservation area has a coastal biodiversity and the sea which is very high and there are three main ecosystems tropical waters of Indonesia, namely: Coral Reefs, and the Mangrove Forest, and Padang Lamun
